Either you devote yourself to harmonize with your partner throughout your life (ultimately a human) or you devote yourself to harmonizing with God, and your partner (God’s match for you) shows up because your life is in divine order. The way many Christians teach marriage is actually idolatry where the biblical teachings on keeping your eyes on God only, being unattached to worldly things and constructs, and going the narrow way is overlooked. We can’t conform scripture to our understanding- we have to meet God on God’s terms and HE will make our paths straight.
“Seek first the Kingdom and all these things will be added unto you”. If you have to split your attention from seeking the Kingdom to maintaining an outcome, Christ isn’t exactly Lord of your life and he isn’t the one 100% ordering it. In the area where you are still experiencing attachment and control, you don’t yet know God’s will, because you are not open to it.
As Christians, do we trust God to love us?
Do we believe he knows better than we do?
Do we believe we know better what his gifts to us are?
Often as Christians we curse the thing that is to bring us to God.
Twin Flames are a natural manifestation and this is ultimately what the Teachings of Union are about. God would never give us a marriage we had to function in control (fear) on any level to maintain. God is love and perfect love casts out fear. If we lay our fear down we’ll find there is no barrier to experiencing God and God actually has a perfect will for us that will never cost us our 100% alignment with Him.
We can have it all… and we come to find God is the whole thing.
